Forestry Mulching & Land Clearing in Loudon County, TN

Loudon County is water and farmland. Fort Loudoun Lake and Tellico Lake wrap most of the county, and a large share of our work here is on lake lots around Lenoir City and Tellico Village — clearing the bank side of a property for a view, mulching the overgrown strip between a house and the shoreline, and building or repairing the gravel access down to a dock. Inland toward Philadelphia, Greenback, and the Sweetwater Valley, the ground opens into some of the flattest, most workable farmland in East Tennessee, where we do larger-acreage bush hogging, fence line clearing, and pasture reclamation.

The valley soils are deep limestone-derived silt loams that grade and drain well — grading and driveway jobs here are usually straightforward compared with the counties east of us. The complication is the shoreline: TVA holds a shoreline management zone around Tellico and Fort Loudoun, so vegetation removal near the water has rules attached and we plan around them rather than cutting to the waterline. Lake-lot banks are also steep and short, which means erosion control and leaving root structure in place matters more than it does on a mid-valley tract.

Hands down phenomenal experience. These gentlemen are top notch professionals and pay attention to detail. I manage several forested lots and build in an environmentally friendly manner and I needed a crew that understood that importance.

These guys did a great job and I had a variety of challenges on my property. They have brand new equipment and Bob, the operator, is as skilled as they come. I'm sure I'll have them back!
